Lead CMMS Engineer

We are currently seeking a Lead CMMS Engineer to join a major oil and gas client based in Perth, WA, on an ongoing contract. 

Purpose & Accountability

The Lead CMMS Engineer is responsible for managing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CCMS) Team, to ensure Data Integrity and allow the efficient execution of maintenance. The role will support CMMS optimisation and provision of data to facilitate reliability monitoring and improvements via the CMMS.

Dimensions

The Lead CMMS Engineer is part of the Maintenance Engineering Support Team, in the Prelude Asset Maintenance & Turnaround Department.

The Lead CMMS Engineer will provide strategic oversight and direction for the CMMS team, and will help build processes, interfaces and organisational capability related to the CMMS.

Reporting to the Lead Maintenance Engineer, the Lead CMMS Engineer will responsible for leading a team of CMMS Specialists locally and remotely, for:

1. Z6 Master Data Change Requests and being a master data change champion to ensure data integrity.

2. Transactional Data Bulk Support (Z1's, WO's, etc.)

3. Master Data and Planning Data Support and Optimization (FLOC imports, MP/MI,Task Listing)

4. Automation of KPI Reporting/Daily Planning and scheduling review reporting.

5. CMMS audits and health checks (Including HBA assessments).

6. Continuous Improvement Ideas and their implementation.

7. Developing Digital Transformation solutions that interface with the CMMS.

8. Close collaboration and interface with discipline and reliability engineers to support MTO and Managing Equipment Care processes.

Skills & Requirements

• Degree Qualified engineer within the MRTA skillpool

• Capacity to challenge and collaborate across disciplines in a meaningful way.

• Recent experience in an operating environment in an oil & gas processing facility is advantageous

• Good understanding of maintenance of operating facilities including the shutdown process, scope development, etc is advantageous.

The Lead CMMS Engineer must be professionally mature, pragmatic with a can do/make it work attitude, a good team player and clear communicator. Flexibility to focus on technical details whilst managing work processes and an appetite to tackle significant &complex problems.

It is important for the Lead CMMS Engineer to be able to efficiently liaise with our wider internal MRTA network for services and to tailor them for a variety of needs.
