Our client are seeking an experienced Workshop Foremen to hit the ground running at their dealerships located in the Broome region of WA. This role is residential based, not FIFO. This role is eligible for our $1000 sign on bonus!

The main role of the Workshop Foreman is to co-ordinate the day-to-day operation of the workshop. The Workshop Foreman is responsible for keeping an even flow of work throughout the day in the workshop by planning, monitoring and controlling all repair orders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Understanding the time and labour requirements for each service and repair,
• Allocating all service, repair and reconditioning work to technicians,
• Directing the flow of work through the workshop,
• Prioritising the workload in an efficient and profitable manner,
• Taking responsibility for flow of vehicles into and out of the service workshop,
• Organising, issuing purchase orders for, and controlling sublet repair,
• Liaising closely with the workshop group leader and service advisors regarding available capacity and capability versus required, and
• Maintaining and enhancing the production control system

Required skills, experience, and qualifications:

Must have previous experience in a dealership environment (specifically Toyota experience would be highly regarded)
• Must have an automotive qualification/certificate
• Sound diagnostic skills & technical aptitude
• Current c class (manual) drivers’ licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Fantastic organisational skills
• Customer Service focused
