We are a small but growing residential construction company seeking a hard-working and efficient qualified carpenter. Your previous carpentry experience along with your proven skills will assist you in this position.

Immediate start. Above award wages negotiated dependent on extensive experience and proven skills.

The ideal candidate must:

- have experience in all Framing, Lock-up and Fixing stages

- have a drivers licence and own vehicle for travelling to suburban construction sites.

- be able to follow instructions from the Site Supervisor and work within a team while also taking initiative on site when required.

- have solid knowledge of Australian Building standards

-Provide evidence of their completion in Cert III in Carpentry

- have strong work values who fits in well with the company culture.

- Must complete a trial first before being offered a permanent ongoing contract.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Residential construction duties with each stage below:

- Framing

- Lock-up

- Fixing & completion

This includes measuring, marking, and arranging materials in accordance with local building codes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must have completed an apprenticeship in construction and have at least 6 months experience working as a qualified carpenter.
