DCM Plumbing has been servicing the Peel Region in the new housing sector over the past 9 years. We work for some of Western Australia’s leading construction companies. Our focus is on providing a consistent, reliable high level of service and workmanship.

We’re a successful small family run business experiencing exponential growth with a strong pipeline of work. You’ll be apart of a close knit team where you’ll be treated as more than just a number.

We are seeking: 

1x Tradesman Plumber & Gas Fitter 

1x Apprentice Plumber & Gas Fitter

About the roles 

Tradesman Plumber 

Be apart of a young vibrant team, great working environment, family owned and operated. Vehicle and fuel card provided. 

  • Must have minimum 2 years new housing experience in tubes, sanis & finals
  • Experience in reading plans & competent with measurements
  • Holds white card, plumbing & gas fitting qualifications
  • Must be hardworking, reliable & able to pass a drug test
  • Driver’s license & have own reliable transport to get to and from yard

Apprentice Plumber 1st - 4th Year 

If you are driven and have ambition in obtaining a trade DCM Plumbing is the place for you. You’ll learn all aspects of new housing plumbing and gain the practical skills needed to become a qualified tradesmen. Whether your just starting out or a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice looking to complete your apprenticeship.

Be apart of a supportive and hard working team which will teach you all aspects of the trade including:

  • You’ll assist and become proficient in all aspects of new housing plumbing including the maintenance of all fittings and fixtures
  • Learn to use a variety of different power and hand tools
  • Learn and become proficient in reading plans and specifications 
  • Carrying out measurements and calculations
  • Quantity take-offs and job specific material inventory
  • You’ll get to work directly with the licensed plumber where you’ll be taught all the skills of the trade

What you’ll need 

  • The ability to show up for work every day 
  • The capacity to work full time 
  • Self motivated with a strong work ethic 
  • Be physically able to work 10-12hr days
  • Good personal hygiene and personal presentation 
  • Driver’s license and a reliable car to get you to and from work 
  • White card 
  • Certificate II in plumbing 
  • Ability to listen and follow instructions accurately
  • Have good decision-making abilities and be a confident problem solver
