The Client:

Established more than 20 years ago, an engineering company that design and build capital equipment, material handling and special purpose equipment for a diverse range of industries.

They are currently looking to hire a Design Draftsperson preferably with multiskilled mechanical and structural design experience. Structural and Mechanical 3D Design with Inventor. Applicants will have a passion for engineering and 5 to 10 years’ design experience of special purpose machinery.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with Engineers to support customers / stakeholders over the full product life cycle
• Brownfield project upgrades / project machinery design
• Produce concept designs and drafts from the beginning through to manufacture
• Design and drafting of skids, structural steel, walkways
• Design with 3d Inventor software
• Strong focus on continuous improvement within design
• Report and present project analysis within design review meetings

To be a successful fit for this full-time / permanent role, you will have

• Team player and passionate about 3D design
• Experience working with Inventor
• Competent producing BOM’s and hand calculations
• Good communicator
• Laser scanning experience a plus
