An excellent opportunity has become available and we are currently seeking motivated individuals to fill the position of Underground Project Engineer for Australian Based Projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that contract operations are run in accordance with company policies, procedures, and goals and that the highest standard of professionalism and integrity is maintained
• Preparation of monthly claims and supporting documentation
• Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly development and production statistics
• Review and preparation of short term development and production schedules
• Ensure Key Performance Indicator targets are achieved or exceeded on a monthly basis
• Attend Client/Management Team meetings and preparation of contractual documents, operational performance, and cost data for the Client/Management Team
• Ensure that daily/weekly & monthly reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner for submission to the client and Management
• Preparation and maintenance of site forecasting on an as-required basis including quarterly forecasts for Corporate Office
• Assist in engineering designs as required
• Source and manage sub-contractors as required
• Manage the production database and ensure data integrity
• Prepare EOM stock take and fuel reconciliation
• Manage explosive stock and supplies
• Prepare day work claims and collates data to justify claims

• Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering or a similar Engineering Field
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in an underground mining environment
• Shift boss ticket or 1st Class Mine Managers Ticket or eligibility and willingness to attain one would be an advantage
• Efficient Excel and Word capabilities
• Other duties as required and/or requested by the Project Manager
