A qualified and experienced Bricklayer is required for a rapidly expanding and growing construction company, FVP Constructions (Vic) Pty Ltd. The business is developing from strength-to-strength and an experienced and committed Bricklayer is required for a full-time appointment.

To meet the requirements of the position, ideal candidates must have:

• Formal qualifications or completed apprenticeship;
• No less than 3 years relevant experience;

Tasks and responsibilities include:

• Knowledge and superior working detail with: clay bricks; concrete blocks and other types of building materials with mortar;
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications to determine materials required, suitable dimensions and bricklaying procedures;
• Cutting, shaping, moulding and polishing, stones, bricks and clay blocks to fit all spaces and depths;
• Erecting and dismantling scaffolding;
• Practice and full knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures.

You may be the Bricklayer we are seeking with a proven career using trade materials, combined with great bricklaying skills using all types of building materials. If so, you will construct and repair veneer and full brick constructions, partitions, arches and other structures with minimal supervision.
