Associate Director Landscape Architechure

TheOpportunity:

This is more than an Associate Director LandscapeArchitecture position. You will join our Sydney Designteam based in the CBD. You will have the opportunity to be involvedin city-shaping greenfield projects for a diverse range of privateand public-sector clients.

The role will be supported by highly experienced Directors and amarket leading national Design team. The ideal candidate will be apassionate and proactive team player, with an expert understandingand exposure of new communities (greenfield) projects.

Youwill:

    • Developing market and business opportunities to secure new clients and New Community projects.
    • Generating new work and sustained and profitable business performance, through the maintenance of, and building upon, existing and potential client relationships and professional networks.
    • Supporting the Sydney Design Directors in managing the delivery of New Community Projects
    • Providing concept and detailed design input on a wide variety of New Communities projects.
    • Managing projects, allocated tasks and effective workload planning.
    • Tracking job costs to achieve profitability and managing job activities.

    Your opportunity to work on projects which:

    • Have a NSW and national focus.
    • Cover a range of development types, including Greenfields, structure planning, road layouts, subdivisions, urban divisions.
    • Are multidisciplinary and challenging, which require creativity to achieve excellent urban outcomes.

AboutYou:

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated advanced project management skills by managing own projects, and that of other team members, within agreed timeframe and budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop team members.
