Are you ready to work for Australia’s leading seafood producer? Are you passionate about learning a trade to be part of an amazing team who implement and maintain new and existing machinery and electrical systems? If so, you may be the person we are looking for!

Our products are on dinner plates and in lunch boxes right across Australia. With over 30 years’ experience, we are industry leaders, innovators, safe and diligent producers and first and foremost, we are responsible farmers who prioritise our people, their safety and the communities in which we operate.

On site you will be learning from and supporting our Maintenance Manager and our outstanding maintenance team. The successful applicant will have a diverse and exciting range of duties. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be completing your apprenticeship by observing and supporting jobs such as responding to break downs, diagnosing and repairing equipment and ensuring equipment is serviced and maintained to achieve maximum reliability with minimum downtime in a positive and proactive manner. This is not your ordinary Apprentice role and will appeal to those that get their kicks out of working on world-class, innovative machinery while constantly learning and problem solving. The successful applicant will have exposure to:

  • A fun and dynamic team with years’ of experience;
  • Varying tasks day to day - No two days are the same;
  • The opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery;
  • Our refrigeration plant;
  • Our waste-water treatment plant; and
  • Ongoing coaching and training.

You

  • Strong communication skills;
  • Enjoy working as part of a team;
  • Current driver’s licence;
  • Ability to complete an apprenticeship over 4 years;

  • Minimum grade 10 English and Maths (or equivalent); and
  • A genuine desire to learn and gain electrical trade.
