About the Company

Intellect Systems is a proudly WA owned and grown company that specialises in the delivery of electrical, control systems, communications and industrial IT projects. They are one of the only end to end solution providers in Australia with capabilities across engineering design, manufacturing and site services.

Due to an increase in their project workload, Intellect Systems are looking for a number of Control Systems Engineers to join their team in WA.

The position will be responsible for:

• Development and delivery of control system software including testing.
• Project documentation including Scopes of work, functional specifications and test documentation.
• Design and development of Process Control Networks, Remote I/O, and I/O testing.
• Overseeing the project lifecycle.
• Commissioning.
• Supporting the engineering team and Project Managers.

The successful candidate will have:

• A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Controls or related discipline).
• Australia-based experience in a Control Systems Engineering role.
• Australia based experience in the Mining and Resources Sector.
• Strong knowledge of PLC’s, HMI’s and SCADA technologies would be ideal (specifically relevant experience with GE/ Emerson PLC Technology, Cimplicity HMI would be preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and strong computer literacy skills.
• High level of organisation and time management.
• Enthusiastic and motivated to achieve results.
