What will you be doing?

We are currently looking for an experienced Team Leader for our Civil Structures team. You will be responsible for the growth and continued success of our Highways & Civil team and your role will include-
  • Providing successful leadership, technical guidance and developing the team to its full potential;
  • Overseeing design verification;
  • Using your entrepreneurial expertise to drive the development of business;
  • Contribution to bids and tenders; and
  • Building effective and enduring relationships with other teams in other states and existing external partnerships.


Who are we looking for?

First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life. You are a highly regarded, degree qualified engineer with a proven ability to lead, mentor, manage and develop engineers and professionals at all levels.

You will come to us with-
  • Extensive experience in engineering design consultancy which will include contributing to large scale, complex infrastructure projects;
  • Confidence working with key stakeholders at Tier one contractors and varying levels of management;
  • Familiar with industry standards (Victoria), such as PTV, MRPV. Knowledge in standards from other states is beneficial;
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure geometry (e.g. bridges) including requirements and constraints to carry out geometry verification;
  • Well-developed commercial skills and demonstrated success in business development;
  • Proven ability to lead a team, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills; and
  • Sound understanding of bridge design and a passion for knowledge sharing.
