An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the ACTSS Program for a Lead Engineer. Under the guidance of the ACTSS Program Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of superior systems engineering and sustainment services to the Australian Defence Force while leading a small team of experienced engineers. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical direction and task allocation for your engineering team Review and approve engineering outputs from team members Develop engineering outputs as assigned Provide engineering representation at Technical Change Board meetings Prepare engineering proposals and estimates Assist with management of resources for your team Skills, Experience and Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Engineering, preferably Electrical/Electronic Engineering Sufficient professional development and tertiary qualifications to attain recognition as a Chartered Professional Engineer or Engineering Associate with Engineers Australia At least 6 years experience in a systems engineering environment (ideally within Defence projects) Demonstrated technical knowledge and significant experience in Electrical Engineering (design, design changes and product configuration control) Experience in leading small teams Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a NV2 security clearance.
