Energy Australia - Melbourne, VIC

Source: uWorkin

About us

The energy industry is undergoing a radical transformation. As one of Australia’s largest generators of electricity, we are stepping up to ‘light the way’ towards a cleaner energy future.

This is both an exciting and fascinating time to join us, because we’re building our centralised engineering function to support our portfolio-wide power stations, equipment and people.

About the role

As a graduate mechanical engineer, you will gain valuable experience by assisting us with implementing a new program here at our Yallourn power plant.

You will learn and master the use of Aware software (boiler data management software), working directly with the Yallourn boiler team to ensure the successful implementation of the tool.

There may also be a variety of other opportunities to take part in further initiatives being completed by the Energy Engineering team which will give you further valuable insight and experience!

What we’re looking for:

This role will suit a recently graduated Mechanical Engineer who may have 1-2 years hands-on experience already. You will have:

  • A tertiary degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and a passion for what you do!
