About Us

Arrow Energy is an integrated coal seam gas (CSG) company, which develops gas fields, produces and sells CSG and generates electricity.

We have safely and sustainably developed CSG since 2000 and supplied it commercially since 2004 - for industrial use and power generation in northern Queensland, and for generation and the east coast gas market in the south.

Our corporate office is in Brisbane’s CBD, and we operate in the Bowen Basin in central Queensland, and in the Surat Basin in southern Queensland, where we are starting a major new development which is planned to bring about five trillion cubic feet of reserves to market over 27 years.

Arrow is owned by two of the world’s largest oil and gas companies, Shell and PetroChina.

To meet our growing demands, we are looking for four (4) Construction Supervisors to join our team.

The Role

Reporting to the Construction Superintendent , you will be the interface between Arrow and the Contractor, ensuring quality project delivery and supervision of multi-discipline (Civil/ Earthworks/CSG Mechanical/Piping) activities executed by Contractors to confirm that works are performed in accordance with the Project Execution Plan.

These roles will be based in Dalby and the surrounding area.

In addition you will:
Monitor and assure all HSE requirements of the project and applicable contract are adhered to i.e. verify through documented assurance activities;
Provide leadership and be the focal point for project site supervision / assurance accountability in the field for numerous multi-discipline construction contractors;
Have a detailed understanding of the project scope of work, project execution plan and project execution / assurance requirements;
Have a detailed understanding of technical standards and contract obligations under particular contracts and ensure that they have been assured / implemented;
Provide daily communication / reporting through to the Construction Superintendent and Construction Manager;
Ensure SIMOPS plans are in place and adhered to for project interactions;
Participate and provide input into improvement opportunities and lessons learnt;
Assist Project Engineer with field-based Knowledge to support Technical Queries.

About You

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety.

To be successful in the role, you will have:
Relevant technical/trade or degree qualification in civil/earthworks/roadworks
Proven ability to demonstrate inclusive leadership within a technical construction supervisory role
Demonstrated experience in managing contractors
Demonstrated experience working to Australian Standards
Proven knowledge of risk management techniques
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft office and Microsoft Projects.

Current Drivers Licence
