Full Job Description
The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project and WHS Coordinator who will be responsible for the coordination and monitoring of project activities throughout the hospital, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with agreed timeframes, costs, safety and quality objectives. The position also has a strong responsibility in the work health and safety of the organisation.

Day to day duties for this role will include (but not be limited to):

Coordinate the Project Master Plan for all FSPH projects ensuring Executive Management are informed of the progress status of all projects
Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information in relation to own managed projects
Liaise with the project managers to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
Assist with the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, schedules and budget
Assist managers to monitor and track their project progress
Issue all appropriate legal paperwork for projects, and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Document and report any issues as they arise and escalate to management as needed
Assist in the creation and roll out of work health and safety initiatives

Key Selection Criteria:
Proven experience working as a Project Coordinator is essential and experience with not for profit organisations is advantageous
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline is highly desirable
High level communication skills (both written and verbal) in order to successfully identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, including all phases of projects from commencement to completion
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles
High proficiency in Microsoft applications including Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
Previous experience working as a safety professional demonstrating an understanding of safety principles, policies and procedures (desirable but not mandatory)
