L2 It Support Engineer - 10 Week Contract

My client is a large reputable Government department based in Parramatta.

Due to a high volume of work, they are requiring a number of highly skilled Level 2 Support Engineers to work through a backlog of tickets.

There are multiple roles but each aligns to either O365, Networking, or Security.

The initial contract will run until end of June 2021, however, there are opportunities to extend beyond.

Key requirements for the role/s:

  • Strong track record working in Level 2 function to effectively troubleshoot and resolve incidents via ticket system
  • If applying for O365 then we would like experience in - Microsoft O365, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive, and possibly expand into Exchange, SMTP tickets
  • If applying for Networking we would like experience in - SD Wan, LAN, WAN, WiFi, internet carriage, NBN and possibly VC tickets.
  • If applying for Security we would like experience in - firewalls, web proxy servers, virtual private networks (VPN), intrusion detection systems (IDS), e-Mail scanning and virus scanning products.
  • Must have strong customer service skills 
  • Must have excellent communication ability - Strong verbal & written
