We are pleased to present two (2) superb Civil Engineering opportunities involving design, technical support and field based project delivery:

  1. Civil Engineer, Roads, Subdivisions and Stormwater drainage 
  2. Civil Engineer, Hydraulics 

Both positions report to the Principal Engineer or Team Leader and, depending on exp, shall be client facing. Depending on your exp. level and role, you’ll work independently or as part of a team to undertake the scoping, planning and design of infrastructures projects for private and government clients. 

Key Responsibilities
As Civil Engineer - Roads, Subdivisions and Stormwater drainage:

  • Design of roadworks to Austroads standards (highways, traffic mgmt)
  • Earthworks and pavement designs
  • Erosion and sediment control design
  • Civil design for commercial buildings
  • Water quality, design of stormwater drainage
  • Land Development

As Civil Engineer - Hydraulics:

  • Water and wastewater design
  • Design of pump stations & water treatment
  • Prepare contracts and project manage construction
  • Work as Superintendent's representative

Additional responsibilities (both roles):

  • Fee proposals and tenders
  • Preparing technical specifications, schedules and estimates
  • Generate Authority approvals
  • Undertake construction quality inspections and certification
  • Construction administration
  • Coordinate project resources to deliver work on time, budget & quality
  • Manage clients and some business development activities

Key Skills & Attributes
With B Eng (Civil) and 5-15 years engineering exp, ideally you’ll have demonstrated consulting engineering background. If lesser exp. (eg

Depending on your experience level, you’ll be able to demonstrate some or most of the following:

  • CPEng status or progressing towards CPEng
  • Ability to project manage design projects and manage design teams 
  • Impeccable verbal, interpersonal & written communication skills
  • High level technical ability in civil design
  • Ability to work with or lead, manage and mentor engineering teams
  • Ability to engage with and foster strong relationships with clients
