JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a well-established NFP in the electronics production and assembly sector and has been providing meaningful work opportunities for people with intellectual developmental disorders for 34 years.

The Board wishes to grow existing channels and to identify and source new revenue channels to enable even more employment opportunities for people in this group.

This new role has been created to assist the company achieve that goal. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll work alongside the Business Development Manager to drive sales for this unique business and really make a difference in people’s lives. 

This is a genuine opportunity to use your skills and experience to do good in the world without leaving home!

What we need:

We need someone to assist driving the sales function of the business, including:

  • Developing and implementing sales plans to meet company revenue goals
  • Managing existing clients to grow existing revenue
  • Identifying new business and alternative channel opportunities
  • Providing appropriate technical solutions
  • Preparing quotes and sales presentations 
  • Participating in community and professional networking events

What you’ll offer:

  • Previous experience in a B2B consultative sales role – experience in the electronics manufacturing/assembly/production industry would be highly regarded but not essential
  • Ability to understand and meet sales targets
  • Commercial acumen
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to champion a shared vision
