Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We currently require a Mechanical Engineer to work on an 8 and 6 site rotation for our client's maintenance team managing multiple engineering improvement projects and future maintenance outages from concept, design through to installation.


  • Mechanical engineering design and application to Ore processing facilities.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of installation, operation and maintenance of materials handling equipment, particularly crushers, feeders, screens, conveyors and chutes
  • Support equipment failure investigations using root cause analysis techniques and implement remedial actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Support strategy optimisation
  • Work collaboratively with teams and key stakeholders


  • Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with minimum 3 years experience in Heavy industry experience preferably in Fixed Plant Ore Processing
  • Brownfield improvement projects experience
  • Ability to manage design and fabrication contractors
  • Prior experience working within multi-discipline operational teams on site is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • SAP Master Data Experience an advantage
