About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Specialist for a site based within Gladstone for an immediate start. This position will hold a Monday to Friday roster with competitive hourly rates available for the successful applicant.

You will have the opportunity to work within the Integrated Operations Team in Gladstone (Yarwun) as a Fixed Plant Specialist.

Duties would include:

Provide guidance, standardisation and technical support to Superintendents, Engineers and SMEs on site regarding complex issues that prevents assets to have optimized performance.

Hold accountability for the life asset planning all the way from lead RCM workshops reviewing strategy and tactics, deliver the output files to be loaded in SAP, review AMPs, produce MoC documents and track results of new implementations.

Provide guidance to the Defect Elimination process and lead complex Root Cause Analysis as per site request;

Provide technical expertise to solve complex issues applying cutting edge technology;

Provide support to reduce unscheduled downtime and consequently increase availability.

Support Reliability Engineers with the maintenance strategy and tactics for Fixed Plant or HME

Optimising the process performance to ensure the plant run rate and key performance indicators are met.

Collecting and analysing data; and using this to support recommendations regarding productivity and safety improvements.

Skills & Experience

Recognised as an expert in the asset management/reliability function regarding Fixed Plant or HME assets

Experience with GE APM Software

Experience leading Root Cause Analysis (specially using PROACT methodology)

Experience in conducting Reliability Centred Maintenance workshops

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with strong ability to engage, influence and liaise confidently with a variety of stakeholders on all levels

It will be beneficial if you have:

Tertiary qualification within a relevant field such as Engineering, Science or relevant discipline

Experience in Data Analysis and Business Improvement principles

Recognised innovation capabilities and ability to challenge the status-quo.
