VoIP Technical Support Engineer

Leader is one of Australia's largest IT Distributors and an emerging player in the rapidly growing (UC) Unified Communications space - through our own branded SIP Wholesale provider Breeze Connect.

We are looking for an experienced VoIP Support Engineer to help grow our reseller network by providing pre-sales & post-sales support, along with billing and administrative duties. Experience with Yealink, Fanvil, Sennheiser, 3CX and Grandstream will be favorable when selecting the successful applicant.

Experience working within a SIP / VoIP Provider as a support engineer - and having experience with Hosted PBX, Teams Calling & Internet services is also highly sought after.

Role Objective

Support our Leader VoIP & Breeze Connect partners by providing technical pre-sales & post-sales support by phone, email, ticket & via remote access.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide Pre-Sales Support, VoIP/3CX System Design, Topology & other technical advise on IP products.
  • Provide helpdesk phone support for inbound technical queries relating to hardware, software or SIP Trunk issues.
  • Manage effectively & efficiently workflow, priorities & customer responses in a timely manner - through our ticketing engine.
  • Assist with the provisioning of new reseller accounts, end-user accounts for Breeze Connect.
  • Provisioning of 3CX Phone Systems.
  • Provisioning & supporting Hosted PBX environments.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through fast & accurate responses.


Core Competencies With Proven Experience
  • You will be required to be 3CX Advanced Certified and/or have 3+ years VoIP experience.
  • Expert knowledge and experience with installing & supporting VoIP products and services.
  • The successful applicant should have experience with any of the following vendors: 3CX, Yealink, Fanvil, Sennheiser and Grandstream.
  • Excellent communication skills is a must, the successful applicant must be fast to respond to internal staff & customers - but also be highly accurate in their ability to offer support & suggestions.
  • Excellent product knowledge relating to IP Telephony and the broader Unified Communications space.
  • Bright and friendly personality with a strong desire to succeed & grow in a successful company.
  • Work as a team to achieve results as a team.


Certification Requirements

If hired candidates must undertake & complete the following certifications within their first 3 months of employment:
  • 3CX Advanced Certification
  • SIP School SSCA Certification

If you already have these certifications that is a bonus - Candidates applying for this role must be committed to studying & earning these certifications as this is a core requirement for all technical roles in Breeze Connect.
