JOB DESCRIPTION

Telco Structural Engineer

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1) Produce structural and civil engineering design of Telecommunication support structures including antenna supporting systems, other equipment and shelter/ODU support systems
2) Analyze existing tower structures, building structures, other structures and foundations with the additional equipment loading
3) Conduct structural inspections and prepare designs for new and upgrade of existing sites
4) Engage structural, civil and other third-party suppliers to complete the various components of the designs and certifications
5) Review and verify structural engineering designs, calculations and general arrangement in accordance with Regulations, BCA, Australian standards, Code of Practice and client's specifications
6) Co-ordinate and liaise with other disciplines in the preparation of the design documentation.
7) Review all relevant client specifications to ensure that all technical content is incorporated into the designs
8) Utilize all tools that have been made available to manage workload in a controlled and professional manner
9) Supports the implementation of corrective actions, if needed.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
* Bachelor Degree in Civil or structural Engineering
* 5 years experience in structural or civil engineering consulting
* Thorough working knowledge of design and analysis software such as MS tower, Microstran, and strand7.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients and other professions
