Our Client

Our client is a peak body supporting the Education sector that administers a suite of research-based, high impact school sector surveys for their members.

The Role

In the fast paced, high-profile role of Analytics & Research Associate, you will be involved in communicating and liaising with school leaders and other personnel, preparing a range of survey tools for data collection, data entry, reviewing data quality and providing dashboards and reports.

The role involves some data analysis and interpretation into easy-to-use visualisations, reports and publications to support the independent school sector into the future. 

This is a is a full-time permanent position, located in the Sydney CBD.

  • Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with systems including Microsoft Dynamics, Qualtrics and SharePoint – or demonstrated commitment to learning new systems.
  • Ability to follow processes, audit existing usage and workflows to assess and maintain data integrity.
  • Build and disseminate surveys to stakeholders.
  • Provide support for survey report and dashboard building.
  • Effective communication in both oral and written form, appropriate to audience and context.
  • Demonstrate high level skills in dealing professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capacity to maintain a high level of discretion and exercise sound judgement in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Communicate in an honest, direct and supportive manner.
  • Willingly undertake other duties as required by the Chief Executive and the Programme Director

Education and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to proactively respond to change and manage shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment and a proven ability to liaise, build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels within an organisation.
  • High level of digital and data literacy, including data management and manipulation; and
  • MS Office proficiency, with advanced Excel skills desirable (e.g., managing and analysing large data sets, graphing, pivot tables, writing functions and calculations).
