Ravensworth Complex comprises of Ravensworth Open Cut and the Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a long mine life. Our fleet consists of Cat 6090 hydraulic face shovels and 6060 & 6040 excavators, Bucyrus SKS/F Rotary drills, Letourneau L1850 wheel loaders, Caterpillar 797F/789D rear dump trucks and ancillary equipment.

We currently have an opportunity for an Electrical Support Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for;
  • Providing technical advice and assistance to ensure safe and optimum performance of plant and equipment.
  • Site compliance with legislative and business standards.
  • Developing and implementing electrical engineering standards.
  • Providing expertise on project management and risk assessment activities.
  • Assisting with investigations and identifying continuous improvement opportunities in equipment performance.
The ideal candidate will have high level interpersonal skills that will assist you to build relationships with internal stakeholders, external consultants and contractors and the ability to work in high pressure and competing priority environments.

You will have;
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • Hold or be willing to attain an Electrical Engineers Certificate of Competency
  • Experience in Maintenance and or Asset management
  • Extensive experience in mining management maintenance systems, policies and procedures
