Perenti Group is seeking to engage a highly skilled and experienced Principal Enterprise Architect to serve as the thought leader within the Perenti Group Technology division, with a focus on establishing foundation architecture and developing the discipline of enterprise architecture within the Group through clarity of business priorities and objectives. 

The role focuses on creating and maintaining an overview of Perenti assets, IT processes, business development strategies, and other internal functions to establish and implement changes that will increase sustainability and prepare the Group for future growth.

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Establish an Architecture Review Board function to steer the development of Technology Strategies and Enterprise Architecture blueprints.
  • Build the long-term strategic roadmap in line with business priorities and objectives, drive analysis of current and future state, leading to the development of the Enterprise Architecture Roadmap.
  • Apply expert skills in varied architecture domains (business, information, application, technology, and integration) to ensure clarity and define the future state architecture model.
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures, policies, standards and guidelines to ensure that a consistent approach to Enterprise Architecture is applied across Perenti.
  • Communicate the architectural direction to architecture team members, Group Technology Leaders and Business stakeholders.
  • Drive disruption to business models using emerging technologies whilst removing roadblocks and enable strategic risk taking.

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in an Enterprise architecture role and at least one of the following IT disciplines (application development, infrastructure and operations) in a large corporate or equivalent consulting environment.
  • Strong experience in varied IT roles focused on delivery, operational excellence, engineering and/or architecture with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Certification in a leading enterprise architecture framework, TOGAF certification would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience with delivering strategy, roadmaps, reference architecture and standards; experience in development of business cases.
  • Proven experience liaising with multiple stakeholders within a large organisation, including both internal and external stakeholders.
  • High emotional IQ with demonstrated ability to engage others, including IT Leadership and Business Executive.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
