About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) (Mech) to join our MRH team located in Oakey. Reporting to the Team Lead Maintenance through respective Aircraft Technical Leads you will be responsible for performing all Maintenance activities while also conducting Off aircraft maintenance and supporting operational units in Industry specific tasks, such as advanced systems troubleshooting and rectification, and aircraft or component modifications.
This role will work on a shift rotation of 2 weeks morning (6.30am – 3pm) and 2 weeks afternoon (2.30pm – 10.30pm)
About you
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment. The skills and experience best suited to this role:

* High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and it's applicability in the relevant environment
* Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
* Experience in an Approved Maintenance Organisation environment
* Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications
* Cert IV (or equivalent) in Aeroskills, issued through a Registered Training Organisation as applicable to your role.
* Ability to obtain a ‘B' level Military Aircraft Maintenance License.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction
