JOB DESCRIPTION

MES Australia is an experienced provider of high-quality medical equipment with over 60 years of experience in the medical industry. Products we provide include dental units, dental imaging equipment, and surgical units for a range of industries such as veterinary hospitals, dental and medical offices, and laboratories.

We are looking for a full-time qualified Biomedical Engineer to ensure our machinery are maintained and installed to the relevant standard.

Duties include, not limited to, the following:

  1. Perform regular and ad-hoc maintenance, calibration and validation of autoclave machines
  2. Perform diagnostic assessments of machines in accordance with established procedures
  3. Installation of X-ray equipment and training clients in appropriate use/set-up and maintenance
  4. Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of dental chairs,
  5. Installation, maintenance and support of Laser equipment for beauty therapists
  6. Calibration of medical equipment as required
  7. Update, maintain and contribute to the ongoing improvement of business processes and systems
  8. Train colleagues in the safe use of equipment
  9. Participate in regular and ongoing professional and personal development activities and company events as required
  10. Conduct research to find new and improved methods of treatment and use of equipment
  11. Actively contribute to a safe and healthy work environment
  12. Any other duties and project work as reasonably requested

Any successful applicant will have: 

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Higher in a related field
  • Experience within the medical field would be desirable
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent time management
  • Highly detailed conscious
  • Analytical approach
  • The skill and ability to work harmoniously in a team environment (a team player) while unsupervised.

Salary range will be $50,000 to $60,000 according to experience.
