JOB DESCRIPTION

To support our continued growth, we have an opportunity for a Plant Engineer to join our Group Engineering and Technical Team. This is a hands-on role that has impact on our business and we are interested to hear from Engineers with relevant skills and experiences . Recent Engineering graduates with some practical work experience to draw on are also welcome to apply. 


Key responsibilities include:

  • Support & maintenance of Group Engineering standards and programs
  • Developing work schedules, project scopes, budgets and technical specifications
  • Driving new programs, monitoring on time delivery, safety, costs and project deliverables
  • Capital planning, factory layouts, new equipment installations and commissioning
  • Coordinating improvements in machine performance
  • Driving the asset care and reliability program, including ensuring critical spares and components for all machines are managed, assisting with machine audits and coordinating asset refurbishments


You will be a well organised, process driven and proactive person who enjoys a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your ability to work with others, build strong relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders across the business both locally and internationally, utilising professional effective communication, problem solving, critical thinking and project management skills will be key to your success.


We are seeking candidates with a relevant Engineering degree qualification and who have some practical experience working in a similar role with engineering design, automation and control systems in preferably a manufacturing environment. Sound skills in CAD (Solidworks/AutoCAD), MS Project and quality management, and familiarity with control systems, hardware and software will be an advantage.
