We are a team of 6 enthusiastic Solutions Engineers across our three JAPAC offices in Tokyo, Singapore and Sydney. We support each other and we share our knowledge - within our own team but also across the global Presales organisation at HubSpot. We are looking for someone who knows how to collaborate well in a team environment, who is sensitive to clients' needs and who can develop relationships. In this role, you will mostly work with our ANZ sales teams but also with many other stakeholders, incl. our JAPAC Solutions Architect, local leadership, our post-sales technical consultants and our regional solutions partners.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with sales reps & the sales management team to solve our prospects needs pre-sale
  • Lead technical pre-sales conversations and deep product demonstration
  • Drive conversations with our prospects around their tech stack, data structure, integrations and data migrations
  • Develop relationships with our customers & solution partners
  • Identify and implement enablement initiatives such as training webinars for our sales teams
  • Collaborate with other SEs across the globe on local, regional and global tasks & projects
  • Provide valuable feedback to our product team, thus being the internal voice of the prospect
  • Help shape the future of HubSpot's mission with your perspectives, ideas, and skills
What are the role requirements?
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally as a Pre-Sales Consultant, Solutions/Sales Engineer or as an Implementation, Onboarding or Technical Consultant.
  • Experience with SaaS & cloud-based software
  • Some experience with coding in HTML/CSS/JS and a server-side language (Python, PHP, etc.)
  • Fundamental understanding of how an API works
  • Good to have but not necessary: Some knowledge of digital marketing, competitive insights into the CMS or CRM landscapes, experience with project management
