Engineering graduates or drafters with strong system or drafting skills. Ideally you will have a Four-year Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) but is not essential. Experience of Make Ready Engineering (MRE) and experience of Work Order Writing would be desirable.

Our client is seeking 5 Engineering Technicians based in their Brisbane Office. Working for an international company providing engineering services in the power industry, you will be based in the Brisbane Office working on international projects. These are permanent roles and with a company based in Australia with large contracts and is rapidly growing. They have built a solid reputation with their customers for safety, quality, and dependability in Australia and New Zealand. All services are certified and delivered in line with the core values of safety, quality, and environmental requirements. As an industry leader with more than 80 years of diverse experience as a foundation, the company leverages decades of inspection data, using analytics to help customers understand their asset health and optimize their approach to structure maintenance. They also provide corrosion mitigation and engineered repair for steel structures, structural load analysis, and a variety of turnkey infrastructure enhancement and upgrade solutions.

These positions would suit engineering graduates or drafters with strong system or drafting skills. Ideally you will have a Four-year Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) but is not essential. Experience of Make Ready Engineering (MRE) and experience of Work Order Writing would be desirable.

Experience using NESC/GO95 to perform MRE and PLAs and an understanding of basic engineering concepts, such as strength of materials, loads on structures and member forces, and reactions is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required to utulise data/project management systems to document and track project progress, schedules and timeframes. Experience or knowledge in drafting to contribute to other related projects and plans to review data collected in the field for accuracy. Training of systems and other requirements will be provided. Importantly you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a permanent resident and have a positive and customer focused attitude.
