JOB DESCRIPTION

Role:

Manage and ensure that the equipment reliability and other mechanical equipment integrity on the facilities are well maintained, sustained, comply with company requirements and standards in various classes of equipment on company facilities.

To support the asset's technical authority to assist the Production team prepare the engineering packages for the Engineering Changes and to provide any technical advice with regard to mechanical equipment in order to ensure the asset reliability and integrity

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of the offshore facilities under mechanical engineering scopes is maintained to the required standards in order to maximise crude production targets.
  • Responsible and overseeing third party performance in the conducting of all designated mechanical engineering related studies and works carried out on facilities
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Request system within the Engineering and Maintenance Group as assigned by Engineering and Maintenance Manager
  • Development and implementation of AFE's for assigned technical activities as well as providing assistance with the quantifying of expected capital expenditure
  • Verify the technical integrity for fabrication, both onshore and offshore, by coordinating the QA process and approving QA procedures.
  • Provide mechanical integrity support for the facilities, in accordance with the safety case and company policies.
  • Support OIMs in order to ensure that daily operations are conducted in compliance with all Company, Statutory and Joint Venture requirements.
  • Operate in compliance with and according to the directions, standards, policies, procedures and methods stipulated by the Company.
  • Prepare cost estimates.
  • Assist with subcontractor selection and management.
  • Participate as a member of the onshore Incident Management Team.
  • To undertake other duties as required from time to time by the Company.
  • Proven experience dealing with industry regulators, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Planning skills to manage and prioritise work-load.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Comprehensive/Advanced computer user skills - full suite of Microsoft products.
  • Experienced with CMMS - effectively managing and successfully operating such systems to achieve production and regulatory compliance outcomes.

Skills required:

  • 5-10 Years Mechanical Engineering experience
  • Background within oil & gas operations/design
  • Experienced with CMMS - effectively managing and successfully operating such systems to achieve production and regulatory compliance outcomes.
  • Offshore project experience desirable
  • FPSO experince
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
