The Manager, Building Audit is responsible for leading a team of technical specialists, managing the VBA's Building Audit Unit and designing, delivering and evaluating the VBA's Building Audit Program to ensure the integrity and reliability of the building system, and, to effectively measure and monitor the compliance of building practitioner work in Victoria.

Who we are looking for

  • Experience designing, leading and delivering audit programs or projects within a building or plumbing environment, and translating outcomes into policy or regulatory contexts
  • Experience in project and contract management including monitoring project delivery, risk and procurement
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate research and audit findings into measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding and experience in the building industry highly desirable
