We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Compliance Representative to join our team in Belrose, Sydney. This fast paced and influential role has the following key responsibilities:

  • Provide Quality and WHSE support to employees and suppliers working on our large-scale warehouse and distribution centre construction project sites
  • Be the main contact and representative for Compliance for the ANZ region
  • Answer compliance queries and complete potential non-compliance reporting
  • Complete supplier and project required audits - covering processes (ISO9001, quality gates), products, risks and hazards assessments
  • Support and champion the development of suppliers and subcontractors on Dematic quality expectations and best practices
  • Support and complete follow through issues report covering root cause, corrective and preventive actions
  • Plan and conduct training on company processes and compliance
  • Assist with documentation (policies, procedures, guidelines) development & deployment for quality, WHSE and compliance
  • Keep abreast of local legislations and press reports pertaining to compliance topics
  • Facilitate and drive quality data collection for reporting, issues and initiatives
  • Assist with project site safety audits, hazards assessment, incident data collection
  • Lead and implement process improvement initiatives

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Diploma or higher in Engineering or related field (e.g Manufacturing, Technology, Science, Trades)
  • Cert 4 in Training and Assessment
  • Diploma of Work Health and Safety will be highly regarded
  • 4 years minimum experience in a similar Quality role
  • Background in manufacturing and/or construction industries will be highly regarded
  • Proven experience in implementing systems according to ISO9001 standards
  • Experience in ISO45001 (or OHSAS18001) safety systems standards will be highly regarded
  • Knowledge and experience with suppliers and subcontractors in Quality practices (supplier development, evaluation, inspection & audits)
  • Demonstrated strong application and promotion of Risk management principles
  • Extensive experience in quality issues investigations & root cause methodologies
  • Knowledge in Continuous Improvement techniques and tools
  • Basic understanding of Compliance management
