The Company
Technical Maintenance Support is a progressive company based in Geraldton. We offer specialised services and experienced personnel to the Mining, Farming and Industries of the Mid West area. These include - workshop and on-site fitting, machining and fabrications, shutdown services and support.
The Role

In order to support our Companies vision for future development we are seeking the skills of a suitably qualified Workshop Foreman for our Geraldton Workshop to lead our highly skilled team of Boilermakers & Mechanical Fitters.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor this role will work in conjunction with management. You will be responsible to assist with planning & scheduling of fabrication and machining works and to ensure the workshop runs at optimum performance.
Your Responsibilities
Work to maintain workshop schedules in line with our short term and long-term objectives
Provide communication between Management and workshop teams to ensure on-time completion of works
Strong communication skills with workshop teams in order to plan and deliver daily and weekly targets
Maintain and foster a working environment which prompts safety in all that we do whilst also providing outstanding service
Ensure all fabrications works are completed to the highest of qualities

Job Requirements:
Your Experience and skills
Knowledge of Boilermaking and Mechanical Fitting practices.
Metal Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker) is a minimum requirement.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a supervisory workshop role.
Demonstrate experience in planning, scheduling within a workshop environment
Ability to lead, develop and mentor
Planning & organising, problem solving skills
Conflict & time management and strong communication skills
Intermediate MS office skills, drawing programme knowledge an advantage
Current C class licence, Forklift and WP tickets advantageous
Roster
5:2 Monday to Friday with an occasional Saturday at workshop based in Geraldton
Competitive salary package - range: 100K to 120K
