JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will provide second level service desk support to clients and staff to ensure all services are delivered and completed within agreed KPIs and SLAs .

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide second level help desk support to customers across Australia.
  • Ensure the integrity of the information loaded within Service Desk by carefully reviewing service orders.
  • Provide telephony and customer facing support for initial fault diagnosis; liaise with customer throughout to ensure satisfactory resolution of problem.
  • Assist in the administration and support of the Local Area Network, including data management and printing facilities, e.g. Active Directory.
  • Project related tasks as defined by Project Coordinator
  • Monitoring and Responding to Incidents from clients and reporting tools
  • Level 2 including escalations
  • Scripting and automation across multiple clients (Powershell, VB)
  • Network and Server Security
  • Private IP and provisioning and management

Essential Requirements:

  • Commercial experience providing Level 2 Helpdesk/Desktop Support
  • Previous work experience in a Managed Service Provider
  • Ability to communicate to a diverse set of stakeholders at all levels both written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to think outside of the box and solve problems

Technical Capability:

  • All forms of Desktop Support for Windows 7/8.1/10
  • Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 R2/2016
  • Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016/Online
  • Office 365
  • Terminal Services/RDP/Citrix
  • VOIP systems such as 8x8/3CX/Mitel/Skype for Business
  • Printers (Setup & Configuration)
  • VMWare / Hyper-V
  • Solid understanding of Networking inc Firewalls, routers, managed switches.
  • Certifications (Microsoft/ITIL) will also be highly regarded!
