Due to a high demand in our project work we have got an opening for a skilled Project Engineer to join the Professional Services team in a role where you will be responsible for completing both internal and client project work.

You will be a professional and self-led individual who is able to work autonomously across multiple streams of work. Client projects vary across all aspects of technology; Infrastructure, Modern Workplace (Office365 & Azure) Migrations, Citrix & Remote Desktop Implementations, Core business application migrations, Azure Active Directory / Enterprise Mobility Services Implementations, to name a few different types of projects the successful candidate will work on.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Project Team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist the team in the scoping, build and project scheduling
  • Liaising closely with the Project Coordinator, Technical Service Manager, Virtual IT Manager and Account Manger to provide project updates
  • Providing detailed documentation and handover for the client’s environment
  • Provide a point of escalation for any project related tasks
  • Ensure that CodeBlue policy, procedures and frameworks are always followed

What you will bring to the role:

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a strong understanding of high-end Infrastructure and Cloud Projects. With strong business acumen and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines you will bring a collaborative communication style that allows you to work successfully with our diverse stakeholders

We will also be looking for the following technical skills:

  • Microsoft Server 2008 (R2)/2012 (R2)/2016/2019
  • Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016/2019
  • Office 365 and Azure and other cloud providers
  • Multifactor Authentication Technologies (Azure MFA, Cisco DUO etc)
  • Hyper-V and VMware
  • Remote Desktop / Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop
  • Proficient in Scripting Languages including Powershell & VBS highly regarded
  • All forms of Desktop Support (Windows 7/ 8.1/10)
  • SAN technologies (Nimble, Dell, HPE)
  • Security Concepts & Vulnerability Management
  • Backup Technologies including Veeam
  • Networking experience with Sophos, Unifi, Aruba, Cisco & Fortinet
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining networks and infrastructure
  • Certifications (Microsoft/Cisco/Fortinet/) will also be highly regarded
