Clough currently have an opportunity within our core in-house Engineering team for highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to provide expertise on one of our major projects. This role is required to ensure that all deliverables are completed to the required level of accuracy in accordance with Company procedures and to provide cost effective solutions to meet project objectives.

Reporting to the Chief Electrical Engineer, this role is required to provide electrical engineering expertise to the project. You will ensure that all deliverables are completed in a timely manner to the required level of accuracy in accordance with Company procedures, the basis of design, and the terms of the contract. You will ensure that cost effective solutions are applied to meet project objectives.

Your key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Electrical design responsibility
  • Review and where required approve work by others
  • Liaise with other disciplines
  • As required, liaise with the Client and Vendor representatives

You should possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
  • Previous experience with Onshore and/or Offshore Oil & Gas projects
  • Knowledge in the following areas
    • LV Switchgear/MCC
    • LV Distribution
    • Packaged equipment
    • Lighting design
    • Familiar with EEHA – Hazardous area classification and equipment selection
    • Familiar with AS/NZS
