As part of their growth in 2021, the team is seeking an energetic and motivated person with strong analytical and management skills to become an integral part of their Indonesian team.

Your opportunity
This residential position is well suited to an experienced Chief Engineer or Engineering Manager in the aviation industry who is really looking for a sea change.

As Engineering Manager, you would be required to manage the overall performance of the Engineering Department, including coordination of maintenance and safety audits. You would also be responsible for financial and operational outcomes in accordance with budget, published plans and contractual requirements and maintaining a culture of performance that delivers continuous improvement.

About you:

  • Have a minimum of 10 years experience in aviation engineering and at least 3 years in a management capacity
  • Current Part 66 engineering license with either B1.1 or B2 category license with either – S-76, B407 or Twin Otter, & PT6A ratings
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Able to establish and maintain appropriate working relationships with staff, key industry partners, external stakeholders
  • Preparedness to undertake external training and development in business process improvement

Please note: Previous experience in developing nations is required as part of this role. The ability to understand other cultures, be an effective communicator and train local staff is a necessity for this role.
