The Client:-

Be part of a high profile greenfield projects working with hundreds of engineers that will change and shape their industry. This is one of the largest and most exciting projects in Australia.

As an expert in your field of Cloud Engineering you will be working with a tight, agile team that has been hand picked to execute this project. You will have a unique working environment specifically set up and designed for this project.

This is not just a Cloud Engineer contract, it is potentially one of the best opportunities waiting for you to bring your expertise.

The Project and your role:-

  • Building and evolving their platforms and applications with technical leadership, design, configuration and coding.
  • Opportunity to work across a wide range of technology including IaC, cloud services, cluster management, service mesh, CICD and serviceability tooling.
  • Abstracting the complexities of the cloud,
  • Ensure application features can move from development to production in a seamless, secure and fully automated manner.
Skills & Experience:-

  • 5 - 8+ Years Experience as a DevOps Engineer and/or similar position
  • Strong in modern Cloud platforms - (GCP, AWS and Azure)
  • Large development of digital applications.
  • Deliver cloud solutions end-to-end and will be hands-on.
  • Be a part of cloud native architecture in high performing engineering teams.
  • Terraform experience.
  • Provisioning CI/CD pipelines at scale for infrastructure and applications.
  • Integrating security and code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Configuring CI/CD pipelines.
  • Using config as code.
  • Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages (golang or python).
  • Operational experience with development or the administration of Istio, Kubernetes or Serverless frameworks
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • IT Degree and/or equivalent
