Our client is a leading engineering consultancy that boasts one of most experienced building services design teams in NSW. They are high achieving and well respected within the industry, known for their innovative and quality design.


They are now recruiting for a intermediate level hydraulic engineer with 2+ years local experience. This position will be responsible for the delivery of small and medium scale projects, and assisting the project leader and larger projects. Responsibilities will include:

  • Concept & detailed design of hydraulic services, including sanitary, wastewater, hot & cold water and drainage
  • Production of project documentation, including shop drawings
  • Attending site audits and investigations, and design, coordination and client meetings

Skills & Experience

Our client is looking for an engineer with:

  • 3 + years' experience of carrying out Hydraulic design within a consultancy or contractor
  • Experience in designing hydraulic services including hot & cold water, sanitary and waste water, drainage, hydrants and hose reels
  • Understanding of the Australian building codes and standards
  • Confidence to communicate with clients and project stakeholders, and attend design and coordination meetings
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP is preferred but not essential
