Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Based on site at Moolarben Coal Operations and reporting to the Senior Site Engineer, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:

  • Undertake the statutory roles and responsibilities of Electrical Engineering Manager.
  • Manage electrical safety, standards and compliance.
  • Implement, monitor and review standards of electrical engineering.
  • Ensure safety and legislative compliance.

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

  • Practicing Certificate: Electrical engineering manager of underground coal mines.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an electrical management or supervisory role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mining legislation, best practice industry standards and risk management.
  • Strong electrical safety focus, high standards and engineering ability.
  • Persons that have a practical, team based background and progressed their career to management level will be highly regarded.
