Our client is a growing IT Managed Service Provider who partners with key information technology vendors and key telco groups providing a "one-stop solution" for their quality customer base. Continued growth has created an opportunity for you to join them in a client / customer-facing Level 3 Engineer capacity.

This role will suit your passion for being on the phone, in the office, out in the field, and face to face helping customers and solving their IT and telco needs across hardware, software, and communications. You will have an opportunity to leverage your strong but growing IT technical knowledge, network support/systems administration experience as you problem-solve ICT issues and support customers proactively with their information technology journey. You love being given a problem and working on a solution.
This role specifically calls for a Level 3 engineer who is strong in server support, configuration, maintenance, virtual servers, VMWare, and Hyper-V.

This is a team-focused role that will leverage your self-motivation and technical / IT engineering problem-solving skills, working across a complete project lifecycle. Technically, you will need to have a great knowledge of mainstream technologies that drive businesses from Microsoft, Cisco etc and related vendors with some knowledge of telco/mobile a real bonus. Of course, you'll be a lifelong learner who may have a "lab" set up at home where you enjoy learning, testing and trying out new things. 

A little about your background:
Along with your strong server knowledge:

  • Strong to expert knowledge of Microsoft's core SME business applications, operating systems (including Office 365), printing and server/network environments.
  • Skills helping small to large client sites as their go-to person will be highly sorted after.
  • Ability to provide strong and quality troubleshooting and support and IT consulting.
  • Ambitious, quick and self-motivated learner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential in dealing with site contacts and their staff
  • Documentation skills are required so a level of organization is desirable 
  • Enjoy working directly with customers and leveraging your service skills.
  • Being able to work within a team and also problem-solving on your own at times 
  • Technical IT network support experience with all recent flavors of Windows (10+), Office 365, small business network connectivity and equipment.
  • Strenght in storage, switching, routing and core utility computing knowledge is something you are proud of
  • Min 4+ years technical experience in an MSP or similar
  • Willingness to perform onsite requirements (ie; scheduled weekly monthly site visits, equipment deployments etc)
  • ConnectWise experience is an advantage

Based out of the office on Adelaide Terrace in the city, with pool cars available for site visit requirements, this successful applicant will not only have a valid driver’s licence, but a drive to their career to the next step, working with a great mix of clients helping solve a mix of technical issues.
