The Role

A front-end Construction Lawyer is required to join at a Senior Associate level. To be eligible for this role you must already be employed in a Senior Associate role. The ideal applicant does not have to specialise in front-end Construction Law but must have strong transactional skills and experience.

  • 4 - 7 years PAE exclusively in the Construction team or a top tier or mid-tier firm or construction-specialist boutique firm
  • Have broad-ranging experience across front-end Construction matters and be at ease with handling any matters within the scope of this role without supervision or oversight
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: clear plain English communication skills and direct liaison experience with sophisticated clients

Benefits on Offer
  • Competitive, above-market salary minimum $140,000 plus super, subject to experience
  • Convenient office location in the CBD, close to law courts, public transport, eateries and shops
  • Opportunity to join a firm known for its low staff turnover and excellent work environment
  • Opportunity to join a large firm with resources to protect your long-term job security and career progression, subject to performance
  • Opportunity to expand on your existing leadership skills and experience in a Senior role
  • Rare opportunity to join a large firm that is open to granting flexible work options
  • Opportunity to be remunerated proportionately with your experience and output
  • Additional benefits, including private health cover, and structured professional development programs to prevent stagnation in your evolution as an excellent lawyer
  • Opportunity to access a progressive law firm that embraces diversity and proactively contributes to the local community by way of a pro bono practice
