Based at our manufacturing and warehouse facility in Yarraville, you will be responsible for identifying improvement opportunities across all parts of the facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Group Ops & Process Excellence Manager you will be a valued member of the operations team where your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the development and implementation of our LEAN programme
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives focused on:
  • Understanding and simplifying our value stream
  • Creating customer value
  • Creating flow through our processes
  • Eliminating waste

Coaching other Operations team members in the practical application of LEAN tools and techniquesTracking, and documenting all improvements to both evaluate their effectiveness and ensure sustainability.

Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience within a continuous manufacturing environment, enjoy working with people as well as having:

  • An engineering background & ideally be degree qualified
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • A passion and demonstrated ability for process improvement
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
  • Excellent computer skills with exposure using SAP
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • A hands-on attitude, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
