We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our Fulton Hogan Construction team in Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this opportunity will see you further gain industry relevant experience by actively being involved with the project team in the delivery of the Bruce Highway Upgrade Project. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary project team from concept through to handover, ensuring safety, cost, quality and time targets are met; managing client, subcontractor, stakeholder and community liaison; and reporting to senior management on performance.

Key position responsibilities will include:

· Assist in measuring and quoting;

· Daily interface with client including attending and contributing to meetings;

· Contractual and commercial claims related to works

· Ensure quality procedures are followed and support team members to follow processes

The successful applicant will possess:

· Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or similar;

· 1-2 years’ of civil engineering experience;

· The ability to communicate across all levels of the business (crew to client);

· Basic knowledge and experience with financials, forecasting, procurement and contracts administration functions;

· Have a practical, hands on approach and a commitment to living safely, and;

· Flexibility, as travel to regional QLD will be required at times.
