TEAM MANAGER CIVIL

  • Permanent full time position
  • Location: Blacktown
  • RC Grade 6 ($127,559 - $141,442 plus Super, Allowances & Overtime)

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an excellent opportunity for Team Manager Civil to be a part of Network Maintenance division within Sydney Trains. This is a varied and challenging role with good career development opportunities and one that does not come around very often.

The Team Manager is a pivotal role and is responsible for managing the routine maintenance aspects of the infrastructure fixed assets in a territory, ensuring safety, productivity and quality targets are reached. Also, leading and managing a high performing frontline team of 43+ employees while managing a financial budget.

About You

You will be a strong leader with considerable operational experience in maintaining and/or construction of Rail Track and Structures Assets in a safety critical environment. You will also be a confident decision maker with excellent influence and negotiation skills; coupled with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Proven experience of managing financial budgets and the ability to drive business process improvements are also a must for the successful applicant.

As safety is number one priority for Sydney Trains, you will be able to demonstrate experience in managing safety compliance in an environment with significant assets.
