Our client a worldwide engineering and manufacturing company specializing in compressed air and pneumatic products is currently seeking 2 prospective sales engineers (a junior & a senior) that are results driven individuals to manage existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.

As a member of the sales team you will work closely with the Service Manager whose team is excellent at providing quality leads / opportunities to help you grow the business and reach your targets, while reporting through to the National Sales Manager based in Victoria

In this role your key responsibility is to successfully sell and introduce the companies range of capital equipment by pitching, strategizing and developing new and existing accounts. In this client facing role you will be called upon to identify new prospective customers, key account manage (70%), deliver compelling presentations and independently drive revenue. You will develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge, draft proposals/quotes, detailed costings and prepare contract documents for review prior to negotiation with the customer.

The expectation is you will understand the sales process, you will implement a territory plan and manage a pipeline through the creation of sales. In addition, you will accurately develop, track and forecast a pipeline of new business opportunities, manage the entire sales process with the technical support you require to cover any gaps.

To be successful in this role you will need a proven sales background selling capital equipment into an open market B2B, any experience dealing with EPC's, mining, manufacturing or process industries will be a definite advantage in this role as will any technical skills with compressors, pneumatics, hydraulics, blowers, vacuum equipment and pumps. You will be polished, articulate and credible in client communication along with the capacity to be a skilled negotiator with a track record in closing.

We have a second opportunity also for a hungry individual looking upskill in a more serious sales environment, however, you will need to demonstrate experience in sales or trade / engineering qualifications in addition to the abovementioned behaviours.
