JOB DESCRIPTION

The ROLE


Providing pro-active incident resolution and service request management for applications, software, hardware and network systems, including user administration.


What will you do?

  • Act as the final point of escalation for the Managed Services environment
  • Respond to and resolve phone and email escalations in a professional, timely manner with an emphasis on high quality customer service
  • Responsibility for regular daily tasks including Backup and DR scheduling and management
  • Develop and maintain systems, applications, security, and network configurations as required.
  • Ensure project work is completed on time and customer expectations are met.
  • Undertake problem management to investigate the root causes of incidents for the proactive prevention of problems


About YOU


The successful candidate:

  • Managed service provider (MSP) experience a definite advantage
  • 5+ years of experience supporting desktops, networks, servers
  • 2+ years in L2 or L3 position
  • Troubleshooting and administering: Ability to resolve and restore broken AD, servers, cloud or network
  • End user troubleshooting, Directory Sync/Azure AD, User Account Management
  • Conduct client site visits if the issues cannot be resolved remotely


Demonstrated technical working knowledge of

  • Cisco

  • Juniper

  • Sophos/Switches/Routers

  • Solarwinds N-Able

  • Solarwinds Backups

  • Strong hypervisor skills esp HyperV and VMWare

  • Connect Wise Manage or other ticketing systems

  • MS O365, Intune is an advantage

  • MS Azure is an advantage

  • SQL servers is an advantage
