Subsea Engineering Associates (SEA) is searching for a Graduate Subsea Engineer to join our team in the Perth CBD. Due to a growing portfolio of projects in 2021, there is an opportunity for the right candidate to join SEA’s development program, working alongside experienced engineers to develop new skills and solve problems on world class projects.

SEA is an independent consultancy specialising in pipeline engineering, who believe in innovative thinking and we use our expertise to challenge the status quo. SEA combines cloud-based computing with engineering and data handling techniques to disrupt conventional engineering approaches in the energy, offshore and broader industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will perform subsea engineering analysis and design using scientific programming techniques. SEA provides training and support to learn the skills required to become familiar with, and ultimately contribute to, SEA's suite of engineering and automation tools.

Skills and Experience

We are searching for a candidate who:

  • Enjoys working in teams whilst being individually motivated;
  • Solves problems by breaking them down into manageable components;
  • Is good at communicating technical topics to people of different experience, both verbally and in written form; and
  • Has a strong academic background in analytics subjects, e.g. engineering, mathematics, physics, etc.

Applicants must have graduated within the last two years or are expecting to graduate mid-year in 2021 with a recognised engineering degree. A major in a structural discipline (e.g. civil, mechanical, materials) is preferred but not required. Experience with scientific programming techniques or applied problem solving using software will be well regarded.
