The Role

Reporting to the Area Lead, Condition & Reliability, Water you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference and add to our work environment, within a place where you can learn and perform to your fullest potential.

As a Water Asset Manager (Dams / Civil), Condition & Reliability you’ll be responsible for delivering and driving effective and efficient asset management outcomes for the business through asset management for the Dams / Civil discipline.

You will also provide daily technical leadership, co-ordination and oversight of technical projects in collaboration with the broader business.

Key responsibilities will include:
Plan and lead all Dam Surveillance inspections in accordance with obligations, analyse the assets and identify actions required
Conduct asset investigations through risk assessments and identify solutions
Drafting and reviewing maintenance regimes through the asset management system Maximo
Ensuring performance and safety is paramount
Developing key relationships with key customers, operations teams and stakeholders across the wider business.

Your Skills and Experience
Detailed knowledge of engineering and operational complexities of water in the Dams / Civil discipline.
Knowledge and experience in the field of risk management as applied to large civil infrastructure assets, primarily water supply dams and service basins, aqueducts, drainage retarding basins and levee banks
Experience in Asset Management, preparing scope documents and project management plans.
Experience with standard office IT systems (e.g., MS Office, Maximo, MapInfo etc)
Well-developed knowledge and proven application of technical and general asset management processes and techniques related to large and medium scale infrastructure assets.

Your ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required together with a Tertiary degree in relevant engineering field or previous experience in related area previous experience working in Dams will be highly regarded
